Been a long time, too long. I have not stopped creating or anything if anything it feels like it has increased. Have been doing anime convention for what feels like nonstop for the last couple of years. I have been making stuff for the conventions to sell and unfortunately as much fun as it is that has left very little time for personal projects and art. It wasn’t all bad got to meet lots of wonderful people and also rediscovered a style that I like to work in, and that I really want to go back to more traditional mediums. That should hopefully change soon due to finishing convention season early this year and also because I left my go nowhere job of 8 years to concentrate on my art. Recently I’ve also have decided to go back to school after trying out a pattern drafting class to improve my sewing,  and discovering  not only was I good at it I was actually enjoying so have decided to pursue a certificate in pattern drafting. And hope to add patterns and with my artwork in the future.

I am still planning on doing conventions, because since leaving my job has become a source of income. But plan to incorporate more original stuff.

Now I've been drawing ever since I could remember. Never really considered being an artist until I saw the movie Beauty and the Beast, and a little push from a friend that I decided I wanted to be an animator.

Went to school and well tried both computer and 2d animation and well that didn't work out. I couldn't stand working on the same animation over and over, adding frames deleting frames just so it can move just right. Drove me insane I'm sure things have changed in animation since then, but honestly it just wasn't for me. Then I tried illustration and I found love in it, and it suited me just fine.

I mostly do greeting card designs, and love working from a live model. But lately I have been trying to expand my horizons and trying different genres and mediums.

I love anime, manga, and RPG video games (I love NIS strategical RPGS). I know my stuff is heavily influenced by it, either consciously or unconsciously I don't do it on purpose somethimes it just turns out that way.

A lot of what I draw here is inspired by either music random sketches I randomly did on a piece of paper the size of a reciept. But most likely are characters from my stories that I write on the side.

As of January 2010 I have began attending artist alleys at anime conventions. I am adding new things to my tables every con I attend. It's all fanart right now but I will eventually add my personal art. I've had a table at 3 conventions so far this year, and feel that I have come a long way since my shared quarter table space at the convention in January 2010.

2011 convention schedule is looking pretty busy already.
